This program provides individuals with tangible strategies to help manage and reduce mild-moderate anxiety.

Program outline
Consultation - Free 15 minute exploratory phone call. The clinician will inquire about the impact that anxiety is having on your life and identify ways to tailor the program to help meet your goals.
Session 1 - Understanding Anxiety. Explore warning signs, triggers and symptoms of anxiety. This session will identify ways to minimize stress through lifestyle changes.
Session 2 - Managing Physical Symptoms. Identify the ways that anxiety is present in the body. This session will provide prevention and intervention coping strategies for managing the physical symptoms of anxiety that you experience.
Session 3 - Identify Anxious Thoughts. Illustrate the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. This session will help you recognize unhelpful thought patterns that are causing increased anxiety.
Session 4 - Reframing Anxious Thoughts. Challenge negative thinking to reduce anxiety. This session will provide strategies for reframing your anxious thoughts to prevent spiralling.
Session 5 - Grounding & Mindfulness. Create a coping plan for managing anxious thoughts and feelings without avoidance. This session provides ways to ground your mind and body in the present moment.
Follow-up - Brief follow-up phone call, free of charge, to check on progress.

$150 per 50-minute session
