Work-life Balance Program

This program provides strategies for achieving a healthy work life balance.

Overview

  • Five individual sessions, 50 minutes in duration

  • Sessions conducted via secure video platform

  • Personalized post session report and progress tracking after each session

Program outline 

Consultation - Free 15 minute exploratory phone call. A clinician will provide information about the program and inquire about ways it can be tailored to meet your goals.

Session 1 - Setting up for Success. This session will outline the foundations for a healthy work-life balance. Factors that protect against stress and burnout will be used to create a personalized coping plan.

Session 2 - Prioritizing. This session will explore your roles, values and needs to help identify your priorities. Reflection questions will be used to determine what a ‘fulfilled life’ looks like for you.

Session 3 - Time Management - This session provides strategies for managing the pressure of competing priorities. A balanced plan for meeting both work and personal needs will be developed.

Session 4 - Boundary Setting. This session outlines the importance of setting boundaries to protect your time and wellbeing. Types of boundaries and ways to set them will be explored.

Session 5 - Focus and Motivation. This session will outline habits for productivity. Strategies to aid goal setting, reduce avoidance, and manage expectations will be discussed.

Follow-up - Brief follow-up phone call, free of charge, to check in on progress and sustainment.

Cost 

  • $150 per 50-minute session

  • Each session billed separately, with no obligation to continue

  • Reimbursement may be available through extended health insurance
